Famous Roman is the second favourite in the odds for the feature gallop, the Jim Taylor-trained Danetime six-year-old coming off impressive wins in the Listed Northerly Stakes (1400m) and Group 3 Lee Steere Stakes (1400m) before finishing a close second to Gathering in the Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) here last start making them a top pick to win at $7.50.
Sydney galloper Trusting, tipped to improve after a look at the Ascot track when running a solid sixth in the Railway Stakes, and quality mare Impressive Jeuney, the fast beginner who did one better running fifth in the Railway, are the other two runners in the Kingston Town Classic field at single figure odds, both paying $9.50 through Luxbet.
